I get asked when I'll start charging for my tools. I'd rather you gave $5 to a children's home in Sri Lanka.
Random
I often get asked when I’m launching an SEO or AI course, releasing a paid tool, or finally monetising the research and tools I share on this site.
The truth is, I enjoy doing this work and sharing what I learn. Most of my tools are completely free, with no signups, subscriptions or paywalls. I even cover most of the API costs myself.
I have no immediate plans to change that.
But if my research, tools or tips have helped you in some way, and you’ve ever wanted to say thanks, there’s one thing I’d really appreciate.
Instead of paying me, consider donating $5 to Serendip Children’s Home in Sri Lanka.
Serendip was founded in 2009 to support orphaned children, widows and families affected by the civil war in Sri Lanka. Today, their work extends across the country, including disadvantaged communities in the hill country.
This cause is personal to me.
I grew up in Jaffna during the civil war. I was fortunate enough to eventually study in London and build a career doing something I love. Many children who grew up in similar circumstances never had those opportunities.
If the work I share can help make even a small difference to their lives, that would mean far more to me than selling another SEO course or putting my tools behind a paywall.
Every donation goes directly to the charity through JustGiving. I don’t collect or handle any of the money.
And please don’t feel obligated. I know things are expensive for everyone right now. If you can’t donate, that’s absolutely fine.
My research and tools will remain free regardless.
Thanks for supporting my work over the years. ❤️
