Keyword Hunt: I Built a Technical SEO Puzzle.

Twenty single-word keywords are cloaked across the site using real technical SEO, AI SEO, and edge engineering techniques. You submit answers one slot at a time. The first 10 players to find all 20 and complete verification get a permanent spot in the Hall of Fame. After that the slots are gone for good, but anyone who solves all 20 still walks away with a personal completion badge to share.

Why I built it

I wanted to know who out there actually knows their stuff. Not who can quote the right answer on a Reddit thread, not who has the prettiest agency website. Who can read source code, sniff response headers, run their own crawls, and follow a trail through a site.

Snippet Digital needs more technically credible SEOs than the market currently has. The Hall of Fame is, deliberately, a list of people I would either hire or refer work to. An SEO recruiting funnel disguised as a game.

What you’ll need

Bring whatever you’ve got. Then bring whatever you can dig up.

A working knowledge of where SEO surfaces live, the things crawlers see and humans don’t, and the corners of the internet that index pages your browser doesn’t. The puzzles are not behind logins. Everything you need is reachable from the public site. The trick is knowing where to look.

I’m not going to list the techniques. Half the game is finding out which surfaces are even in play.

How it works

Visit keyword-hunt.com. Submit single-word answers. Twenty slots, one per keyword. The leaderboard shows live progress, remaining Elite slots, and who is currently in the Hall of Fame.

Solving all 20 is just the start. After the last answer goes in, the site verifies your run is legitimate before anything else happens. Then you’re asked for your name and company. Then a magic link goes to your email so we can verify you’re a real person too. Three checks, in that order, on purpose.

If you make it through all 3 and there’s an Elite slot left, you go on the Hall of Fame permanently. If the 10 slots are already gone, you still complete the game and get a personal badge to share on socials. The puzzles stay live forever either way.

Don’t ruin it

Do not post answers. The whole point of the Hall of Fame is that everyone earns their place. Share the link with the SEOs you would actually want next to you on it, then play together but keep solutions private.
